Live Streaming Your Worship Service

I’ve started a new series of videos on Live Streaming Your Worship Service on my youtube channel.  It’s going to cover a lot of the nuts and bolts of how to successfully stream your church service online. Our streaming has been fairly successful with an average of 500 unique IP addresses streaming our service each week.  I hear quite often from people who can’t make it to church for one reason or another, older folks who are no longer mobile, or even a business man who was out of town about how helpful it was for them to be able to tune in and feel like they are still a part of the church.

This first video covers a general overview of where to start and some best practice for streaming.

  1. Do you give onsite training? We are new to publishing to Facebook live or any other media with the exception of DVD’s. We have approximately 400 to 475 on every service. We need help on understanding lighting, sound and video in order to make a good quality video on Facebook. Please respond by private email if either you can provide the service or not. All our media staff is volunteer and dedicated to learn to be better reaching the sick and home bound. That is our main goal but also reaching anyone that needs some form of ministry in there heart. Thank you

  2. Hello Bobby, it sounds like it’s related to your internet speed. Do you know what your upload speed is for your internet connection? Also, is it shared with other users, and finally, are you using Wifi for the computer that is streaming?
